PERSEPSI TERHADAP OVERPROTECTIVE ORANG TUA DENGAN PENYALAHGUNAAN ALKOHOL PADA REMAJA DI KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out the empiric correlation   between   high school students in Semarang municipality. 40 students of senior high school students in Semarang Municipality were included in this study   using incidental sampling.    Scale method was used for the data collection.  Product moment was applied for the statistical analysis to test   the correlation between the perception on overprotective parents and alcohol abuse. The result showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the perception on overprotective parents and alcohol abuse with correlation coefficient rxy= 0.355 (p<0.05).  The effective contribution of perception variable of the overprotective parents and alcohol abuse was 12.6%.
